There are also a good amount of unsigned free agents that have been a part of the previous roster editions that are free agents in this roster update. Overall though, it should average out to about the same across the NFL. This is due to the two games having different skills that go into overall ratings. Some players will have a slightly higher rating compared to their Madden 23 rating while others will be slightly lower.
I have gone through and edited ratings so that they are as close as possible to Madden 23 ratings. I have done this for every team’s starters (offense and defense) and basically all players 75 overall and up according to Madden 23 ratings. I have gone through and found the closest 2008 player (portrait and skill wise) and replaced them with the current player that most resembles them. Now that I have gotten that out of the way, let's get into the information about the roster. I am very happy and proud of these rosters and that I have gotten to work on these to help this game live on for even longer and hopefully bring some joy to other people's lives through this incredible game.

This roster update easily takes hundreds of hours to do each year, so I just don't think I will have the time to devote to this project in future seasons without neglecting responsibilities for my family or my job. But any version of Computer football which is coach mode would be better than just playing 08 for the 10,000th time.Īwesome! Another HC type player! Is there a way to mod in a coach mode to any PC version of madden? I'd like to do this (if possible) with Madden 22 so I can get the revised number of games and updated playoffs. I didn't get Madden 20 or 21 due to lack of coach mode. Football like a chess game instead of an arcade game.
And, my coach mode I mean like in Madden 08 pick the plays, watch the play executed without being able to control any of the players. Sorry for being slightly off-topic, but my account lacks privileges to start a new thread.
